Our Dentists
Dr. Michael Marr, DMD
Dr. Marr is a native of Turbotville, PA and attended Warrior Run High School. He was a three-sport athlete (soccer, basketball and track) and graduated in 2004. Dr. Marr attended Susquehanna University for his undergraduate studies, where he majored in Biology and minored in Health Care studies. He also participated on the track team, becoming the first All-American high jumper for SU. Dr. Marr joined the practice in July of 2013 after graduating from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine and completing his general practice residency program at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Marr is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry, and he became an owner of the practice in 2018.
Dr. Marr shares the practice philosophy of working with each individual to provide the best quality of care. “As a general dentist I understand dental fears and the cosmetic needs of each patient. I strive to make them as comfortable as possible while they are in the chair leaving them with the feeling of having a confident smile. I realize the importance of oral health and its relationship with systemic or whole body health. I am dedicated to improving the oral health of each patient thereby allowing them to live a better, healthier life.”
He brings enthusiasm, poise, and a kind, gentle nature to our practice. His interests include Penn State football, working out and playing sports. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Erin, two boys, Logan and Connor, and daughter, Sawyer.
Dr. Matthew Murdock, DDS
Dr. Murdock is a native of Elysburg, PA, and currently resides in Catawissa with his wife, Jess, and their two daughters. He graduated from Southern Columbia Area High School in 2003 and was a three-sport athlete for the Tigers, winning state championships in baseball (2000) and football (2002). Dr. Murdock completed his undergraduate studies from Lycoming College in 2007 with a B.S. degree in Biology. He was a member of the football team for the Warriors as defensive back and punt returner, receiving All-Conference honors three times.
Dr. Murdock joined our practice full-time in 2014 after earning his dental degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completing a General Practice Residency from St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA. Dr. Murdock is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry, and he became an owner of the practice in 2018.

His interests include golfing, landscaping, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Murdock is also an avid Philadelphia sports fan!
Dr. Jacob Morton, DDS
Dr. Morton is the dentist at our Kulpmont location. We took over this office from Dr. Menapace, whose family had been working in the area for multiple generations. Dr. Morton is extremely dedicated to his patients and looks forward to giving back to the community that helped get him where he is today.
Dr. Morton grew up locally, graduating from Southern Columbia High School in 2011. He graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2015, where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. Dr. Morton went on to New York University for dental school, where he was a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He also completed a one-year residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY.
Dr. Morton is currently a resident of Sunbury, where he lives with his wife, daughter and their three pets. He loves to spend time with friends and family, and tries to stay active every day. He is also a huge sports fan, and enjoys playing/watching all year round.
Dr. Renae Peng, DMD
Dr. Peng is a general dentist dedicated to making dental visits as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for our patients. Dr. Peng grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and graduated from the University of British Columbia with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She is passionate about blending the latest dental technology with a personal touch to provide exceptional care.
Whether you need a routine check-up, restorative work, or guidance on maintaining your oral health, Dr. Peng is here to ensure you receive the best care tailored to your needs. She believes in clear communication and making sure you’re fully informed about your dental health.
Outside of work, you might find Dr. Peng on the tennis court, diving into a good book, or playing classical piano. She also enjoys staying active with various exercise classes.
